On behalf of an Energy/ Infrastructure firm in Dublin, we are looking to hire a Finance Director.
The Finance Director will be responsible for spearheading a €3bln offshore wind project alongside a Project Director. With significant reporting to the project lenders and project board, the role requires a senior finance professional with significant experience, ideally in the energy sector and renewables.
Responsibilities:
- Budget Management: Oversee the preparation and management of the overall construction budget, ensuring alignment with the annual budget, overall project goals and the project budget.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
- Bank Account Management and Project Finance lender reporting.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, regulatory bodies, and project Sponsors.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 Years experience in Finance, with at least 5 years in a senior role, ideally within the renewable energy sector or in large infrastructure delivery.
- ACA/ ACCA qualified and hold a Masters/ Bachelors Degree in the field.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to deal with interntional JV Partners.
This permanent role has an excellent remuneration package and requires only two days per week in the office. International travel will be involved on a monthly/ quarterly basis.
