Your new role
As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of weekly/monthly management divisional reports
- Preparing all elements of the monthly accounting function
- Implementing a job costing process
- Filing monthly VAT/PAYE returns
- Assisting with the presentation of year-end accounts and aiding the annual audit
- Preparation of annual budgets
Day-to-Day Running of Finance Function:
- Maintaining sales ledger accounts and customer account information with accuracy
- Working closely with clearing agents and helping with any queries they have
- Managing the company TAN account on ROS
- Importing invoices from external operations system
- Ensuring that all sales orders are invoiced in a timely fashion
- Resolving customer account queries with the customer and Sales Manager in a timely fashion
- Reconciling and managing customer accounts
- Undertaking regular credit limit and payment terms reviews on customer accounts
- Monitoring and actively pursuing the ageing of debt and reviewing accounts for any bad debt provisions required
- Monthly bank reconciliations, including reviewing and resolving any daily banking mismatches and queries
- Reconciling supplier statements and employee expenses (VAT claims)
- Ensuring that all supplier invoices are coded, processed accurately, and in a timely fashion
- Posting monthly journals for accruals, prepayments, payroll

What you'll get in return
The Finance Manager role offers a competitive salary ranging from €70,000 to €80,000, depending on experience. Once you are established in the role, you can benefit from a hybrid work model, providing flexibility between office and remote work. Standard working hours are from 9am to 5pm, with some flexibility and occasional late days at month-end.
The benefits package includes a 5% pension contribution, a discretionary bonus, and 21 days of annual leave. Additionally, travel expenses will be covered, ensuring you are supported during site visits. This role provides a great balance of professional growth opportunities and work-life balance.
