Financial Analyst
The Role:
My client is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their dynamic finance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes. You will support budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking to ensure the financial health of the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a passion for driving business growth through financial insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to evaluate the company’s financial performance.
- Prepare and maintain financial forecasts, budgets, and variance reports.
- Analyze trends and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide actionable insights to management.
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of financial models for budgeting and forecasting purposes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and provide financial insights for business planning.
- Contribute to the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate reporting.
- Assist with financial audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Recommend improvements to financial processes and systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
About You:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA) with 1-3 years PQE.
- 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or financial planning roles.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial modeling and accounting software is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly to both finance and non-finance teams.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
