Our Client
Our client is a Family owned business that has grown through expansion in recent years who are looking to hire a new Head of Finance& Operations in a replacement role. The current Head of Finance is retiring so there will be significant handover period so there is limited disruption on the business.

From speaking with our client, we believe an experienced accountant with a minimum of 10 years PQE with the following would be advantageous:
- Strong grounding in financial reporting
- Commercial awareness
- Prior experience of reporting to the Board
- Proven track record in the delivery of operational excellence
- Ability to business partner with key internal and external stakeholders.
Role and Reporting Lines
This role will be the most senior person in finance and will report to the founders. Managing a small team of finance and operational professionals, the role will be varied to include:
- Reporting - Preparation of quarterly management accounts, B/S recs, year-end accounts, liaising with auditors, and preparation of audited financial statements
- Financial modelling, monthly projections and cashflow planning
- Working with the commercial team to set realistic/tangible budgets and forecasts coupled investigating variances
- Compliance - Ensuring financial compliance across various structures
- Finance Operations - Hands-on involvement
- Banking - quarterly banking compliance certificate completions, managing senior debt function
- Fundraising - understanding banking facility agreements and overview of the various lenders and funding options available in the Irish market
- Tax planning, liaising with tax advisors
- Ad hoc project work
