Corporate Finance - Director - Dublin
With Inflation now having stabilised and dipping under the 2% target range the expectation is that further Interest rates cuts will follow, indeed should well follow. The effect of this is to renew appetite in terms of Capital Investment Projects both across the Public and Private sectors.
Given the above my client is seeing this renewed appetite flowing through to large scale projects across Infrastructure, Energy and Renewables and are duly seeking to add to their head count with a strong Director within their Infrastructure Project Finance team based here in Dublin, although looking at projects in Ireland and internationally. The role has a very strong opportunity to develop quickly to MD/Partner level given the scale of the opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models, including discounted cash flow (DCFS) projections, sensitivity analyses, and valuation models to support strategic client decision-making.
- Ensure that financial models comply with industry standards and best practices.
- Working closely with the Partner as well as other departments in both Ireland and internationally on complex infrastructure and government lead project and corporate finance mandates.
- Review Excel and AI Based models under supervision and arrive at preliminary conclusions.
- Understand, manipulate, and interpret financial data and client information, drawing appropriate conclusions.
- Understanding our client requirements, co-developing our approach with the client, and providing value to our clients through insights, factual conclusions, and advice
- Carry out relevant analysis and present your findings (both written and orally).
- Day to day progression of assignments to include planning, preparing, and reviewing various forms of deliverables to include reports and presentations.
- A focus on anticipating and identifying risks that require escalation and subsequently escalating these risks to more senior staff as appropriate.
What we are seeking:
The successful candidate will have gained at least 10 years plus experience and come from a Financial Modelling, Valuations, Investment Banking, Corporate or Project Finance background and will also be at least masters Level qualified, ideally CFA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CAIA qualified as well.
On Offer:
The opportunity to work across some of the most interesting and complex Infrastructure, Energy & Renewables projects is a significant carrot both in terms of the role but also its affect on your future career aspirations across the sector given the current and future levels of Investment within the Sector. This opportunity is very much focused on a Director level individual who is keen to get to the next level after Director!
The Culture, Environment and team is second to none, with a superb leadership team, flexible working conditions, brilliant package and excellent base salary with a healthy bonus.
