We are looking for an experienced Client Finance Manager who loves working in a dynamic team environment, knows how to manage Client accounts with account leads and understands Agency ways of working. PURPOSE OF ROLE:
To own the day to day finance function in the Agency and be the ‘go-to’ for Client Team for commercial support. Reporting directly into the Founder of the Agency and will have autonomy to create new ways of working. This role will be a key component in the business operations of the Agency and central in the wider Agency team.
Key Responsibilities
● Preparation of monthly accounts including P&L & Balance Sheet
● Accurate processing and coding of sales and purchase invoices
● Management of monthly overheads and COGS
● Preparing and submission of VAT returns
● Processing and submitting Payroll
● Preparing and posting month end journals
● Balance Sheet Reconciliations
● Commercial support and management of Client Accounts with Client Leads.
● Prepare monthly management reporting including P&L and target monitoring.
● Other ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements
● Part Qualification – ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA desirable but not essential.
● Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, preferably within an agency environment
● Proven track record of finance and commercial management in a similar environment
● Proven track record of creating and implementing financial reporting procedures
● Expert in Excel
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
● Ability to work independently and multi-task in a team-oriented environment
● Clear communication skills and ability to train others in commercial ways of working
