Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Representative with a strong background in EHS sales and at least two years of B2B sales experience. The ideal candidate will be adept at communicating and demonstrating EHS software solutions in an engaging manner to prospective clients, particularly at exhibitions and trade shows. This role is pivotal in driving our business growth by identifying new opportunities and building lasting relationships within the EHS sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify new sales leads through research, outreach, and inbound inquiries.
- Effectively communicate the benefits and features of EHSwise software to potential clients.
- Conduct live demonstrations of EHSwise software at trade shows, exhibitions, and virtual meetings.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospects, nurturing them through the sales pipeline.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to refine lead generation and conversion strategies.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and competitors to better address client needs and position EHSwise as a leading solution.
- Follow up with leads and maintain an organised pipeline using CRM tools.
- Attend EHS-related conferences and events to network with potential clients and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
- Work closely with the sales team to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes in the EHS landscape.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of B2B sales experience, with at least 1 year in the EHS industry.
- Proven ability to engage and communicate effectively with decision-makers.
- Strong presentation skills, with experience demoing software products to prospects in both small and large group settings.
- Experience in attending and representing products at trade shows and exhibitions.
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in using CRM systems to track and manage leads.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel as needed for trade shows and client meetings.
