Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Nr Maynooth, Co Kildare, Ireland
The company: They are a leading property developer based in County Kildare and dedicated to delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects. The team is passionate about innovation, sustainability, and excellence in construction. We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. There will be a clear route to commercial manager from this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the cost management process for construction projects.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments.
- Oversee procurement processes and manage contracts.
- Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure project success.
- Provide expert advice on cost control and value engineering.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in the property development sector.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost management, and procurement processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider development and construction team.
