Snapfix is on a mission to grow its global presence, one Snap at a time. We're seeking a Head of Strategic Finance to drive financial planning and strategic initiatives. This role will oversee budgeting, forecasting, general accounting, and operational improvements, providing valuable insights for decision-making both within the Finance team and across the organization. As a finance leader, you will liaise with customers, support sales and marketing improvements, and develop and implement new financial processes to improve cash management and accounting. The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker with deep technical expertise and a proven track record in financial leadership.
Responsibilities
Financial Strategy and Analysis:
- Develop financial models to assess business performance and strategic initiatives
- Manage KPIs and metrics to track financial and operational performance.
- Advise on long-term financial planning and provide guidance on capital structure, risk management, and resource allocation
- Support future capital-raising efforts by providing financial analysis and engaging with investors
Financial Planning & Forecasting:
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to align financial goals with operational objectives
- Oversee financial reporting and deliver actionable insights
Team Leadership:
- Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on business objectives and financial goals
Billing and collections
- Oversee the team responsible for accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and ledger
Skills and experiences
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within strategic finance or FP&A
- Advanced knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis
- Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to manage multiple priorities, work in a fast-paced environment, and influence and drive change
- Natural leader who can inspire and develop high-performing teams
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision making
- Experience with mergers, acquisitions, or fundraising is a plus
Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Dublin, Ireland.
