The Financial Controller is responsible for the overall draft managements, financial analysis and review process for all OFS entities on an ongoing, monthly and annual basis. The focus of the Financial Controller is to provide efficient and effective management of the finance operation in relation to the co-ordination, recording and reporting of all financial activities and consolidation.
The role reports to the Group CFO.
•Review of monthly consol accounts and related reports
•Review of monthly entity management accounts and completion where required
•Prepare, review and present monthly KPI’s and Job costing reports
•Review and approve payrolls in various currencies
•Preparation of year end audit file and liaison with auditors for all group entities
•Ensuring all OFS entities satisfy statutory, tax and other compliance returns and are completed on time.
•Liaise with our US tax advisors to complete the annual tax returns.
•Involvement in continuous improvement initiatives and various financial and operational projects within the OFS Finance team.
•Provide operational support including customer bids, project costings and contract reviews.
•Support management team on financial decisions/projects.
•Other ad-hoc duties.
Requirements
•5 years + post qualification experience (in fast paced multi-national environment)
Qualified ACA / ACCA, is not essential but is of benefit.
•Ability to organise, prioritise and deliver accurate results while working in a fast-paced environment.
•Team player with strong analytical, communication and presentation skills
•Strong knowledge and understanding of IT and payroll systems.
•Good understanding of cost allocation and review
•A proven ability to be solution focused, thinking laterally, and innovating at every step.
•Strong and transparent communicator with a proven ability to simply financial information to enable understanding by non-financial colleagues.
•Requirement to attend the office 4 days per week in line with company policy and business needs.
•Demonstrates a strong sense of personal self-belief and integrity and a willingness to be an independent voice where necessary.
