Accenture Global Solutions Team (AGS) is responsible for our global intellectual asset management processes, covering all of Accenture’s offerings and assets. The team also plays a central role in supporting the overall Market Development & Initiatives (MD&I) allocation program.
Role Overview:
We are looking for an Intellectual Property Management (IP) Specialist who will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of our Intellectual Property portfolio. This includes overseeing the IP Management and Funding processes such as investment reviews and reporting, liaising with IP Legal on asset protection matters, and publishing information on solutions and assets (the Accenture Portfolio) to our Intellectual Property Management System (IPAMS). The role involves working across many stakeholders, including Services, Markets, Corporate Functions, Intellectual Property Legal teams, and Compliance teams. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of AGS scope and our IP portfolio, being responsible and in control of the assigned portfolio, and being creative in making and suggesting improvements to promote and manage it and build relationship and trust with the stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and manage the reviews and compliance of Intellectual Property and Funding reporting and insights generation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the Operating Groups, Business Dimensions, Asset owners, Business Ops, IP Legal, Finance teams.
- Oversee and manage IPAMS and other internal tools to ensure the integrity of our IP investments and portfolio.
- Identify, analyse, and monitor patterns or trends within IP and MD&I data.
- Conduct ongoing portfolio reviews to ensure the effective life-cycle management of our IP.
- Maintain, update, and develop relevant documents and content for AGS & MD&I use (team service sites), website, policy, and procedures.
- Find efficiencies and support/drive continuous improvement projects in managing the processes and technology.
- Gather requirements and prioritize improvements to technology supporting the investment process, acting as a key liaison with CIO.
- Enable the success of our internal teams within AGS and MD&I, ensuring a seamless support offering to our key stakeholders.
- Provide continuous support to and collaboration with other team members
Skills and Qualifications:
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and on multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to foster relationships at all levels within the organization.
- Strong team working and collaboration skills, with experience working in a large-matrix organization such as Accenture.
- Customer-Oriented Mindset, Strong Time Management and Prioritization

- Positive attitude and flexibility.
- Comfortable with learning new technology and providing functional support.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced), MS PowerPoint, SharePoint, and PowerBI.
Nice to Haves:
- A degree in Business or Finance is preferable. Relevant experience can supersede degree requirements.
- Knowledge of Accenture’s Offerings & Assets, Legal protection of IP, and/or MD&I is advantageous.
- Project Management & Budget, Forecasting skills.
- Comfort with technology terms and continuous development.
- SQL skills are preferable but not mandatory.
