Our client, a leading construction company with a significant portfolio, is recruiting a Commercial Finance Analyst to its Head Office due to significant growth and recent promotion within the team. This role will support the delivery of financial analytical outpu tof the Finance Team and partner stakeholders across the business.
This role will suit a recently qualified accountant with an analytical mindset and a natural interest in commercial business. Ideally, you will have experience working with large data sets and drawing value adding information from same for presentation to decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare sales analytics
- Liaise on live-site construction projects to ensure all costs incurred are being reported accurately on a monthly basis on Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Preparation of monthly live-site project appraisal reviews, for analysis and assessment by Finance Business Partners, ensuring all costs and revenues are up-to-date
- Act as link between the Sales and Commercial Finance Teams for forecasting and budget purposes to ensure that accurate and up-to-date financial data is being used
- Partner with the Sales & Marketing and Planning teams to provide analysis on monthly costs, variance analysis and ad-hoc forecasting
- Assist Investor Relations function with detailed analysis of historical and forward-looking sales performance and related analytics
- Other financial modelling and analysis as required on a regular basis
Key Skills
- Qualified accountant, either practice or industry trained
- Experience building dashboards through Excel or BI tools would be a plus
- Highly analytical and comfortable manipulating large data sets
