Aramark Ireland is currently recruiting for Finance Director, Food to join our team. This is a permanent position that reports directly to the CFO. The Finance Director will support the region and Chief Financial Officer through the delivery of a high quality finance and strategic commercial service across multiple client types and line of businesses. The role will be responsible for timely & accurate period-end reporting (P&L and Balance Sheet), periodic forecasting and annual budgeting. Ensuring financial controls, integrity and accuracy are maintained & developed in line with company policy and working with the other business leads to deliver best practice and commercially focused finance solutions will also be a main focus of this role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly financial reviews with Operations Management
- Produce & Present Monthly Regional Board report & US Review reports
- Support & review retention bids and review of new business bids
- Lead commercial elements of client negotiations
- Understand operational, financial & legal aspects of commercial negotiations
- Drive management of commercial opportunities and risks in the division
- Lead business initiative support, analysis & implementation
- Coordinate, consolidate, challenge & summarise Annual Plan
- Review & challenge forecast with operations
- Understand key financial and contractual drivers in each contract to both ensure accurate accounting & maximise commercial opportunities
- Overview & improvement of standard client reporting
- Consolidate accurate & timely monthly accounts for the region
- Capex review & approval within corporate limits
- Control divisional overheads
- Debt monitoring & exception follow up
- Management & development of the regional finance team
Key Requirements:
- Effective communication skills; oral, written, presentation, influencing and negotiation
- Confident in leading commercial discussions and negotiations and gravitas to represent the company in commercial negotiations
- Extensive experience of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel
- Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA with at least 5 years post qualification experience
- Demonstrate a broader business awareness beyond the financial arena
- Experience in a contract based environment industry preferable but not essential

- Ability to influence and to build strong working relationships across all departments
