This rapidly expanding fintech leader has been at the forefront of the industry for over ten years and is now proudly listed on the New York Stock Exchange. They are currently seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to contribute to their mission of driving innovation and building scalable, high-performance systems using technologies like Scala, Kafka, NoSQL, Kubernetes, and Cassandra.
In this role, you will design and develop robust backend systems focused on real-time data processing and large-scale distributed systems.

You will:
- Design and develop robust, low-latency backend systems that power trading applications.
- Work with cutting-edge technologies to solve complex challenges in data streaming, microservices, and concurrency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs and ensure the platform scales seamlessly.
- Help optimize systems for reliability, performance, and fault tolerance in a high-stakes trading environment.
Skills/Experience:
- Experience with backend technologies (such as Java, Go, Scala, Kafka, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS) , microservices, and API design.
- A passion for building secure, high-performance systems in a real-time context.
Salary / Remuneration: €60,000 - €70,000 – plus generous benefits package, strong work-life balance
