About the Company:
My client, a global fund service provider, is looking to grow out their Finance department with the hiring of a new assistant financial Controller.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will assist with the production of monthly management accounts, statistics, regulatory returns, and financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the payment & recording of expense payments & accruals
- Prepare tri-annual income & expense forecasts and an annual budget.
- Investigate, analyze, and explain in writing the variations in income and expenses from month to month, quarter to quarter, year to year, and against budget.
- Prepare and collate monthly management papers for Senior Management meetings and quarterly papers for Board and Supervisory meetings.
Qualifications:
- 3/4 years experience in a similar role
- Minimum of third level qualification in an Accounting or a related field.
- Experience or an interest in the development and training of more junior employees
- Must have excellent Excel skills and to be proficient in PowerPoint and Word
