About The Role
This is a unique opportunity to build a dynamic career in finance while gaining exposure to all elements of Tate's business. With a focus on problem-solving, collaboration, and communication, this role will allow you to develop commercial acumen and financial expertise while supporting critical business operations. Your journey begins by learning about our strategy, day-to-day operations, and processes, setting the foundation for a robust learning and career trajectory.
The Opportunity
The program is designed to ensure robust learning, providing you with the knowledge and exposure required to succeed in a future finance leadership role. By the end of the program, you will have developed a deep understanding of business strategy, finance operations, and leadership, positioning you as a future leader in our organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with Kingspan Group Finance: Gain hands-on experience in key finance areas, including tax, Treasury, legal, and IT, to build a strong foundation in corporate finance functions.
- Engage in Audit Practice: Gain varied exposure to a wide range of clients and industries. Learn the fundamentals of audit practices and enhance financial reporting knowledge.
- Develop Internal Audit Expertise: Deepen your knowledge of group accounting processes and internal controls through detailed exposure to the Group Accounting Manual.
- Undertake an International Placement: Spend six months in a Business Unit abroad, working on impactful projects to gain global finance and business insights.
- Participate in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A): Gain comprehensive knowledge of the M&A process, including due diligence and negotiation techniques, to enhance strategic decision-making skills.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Education: Degree qualification (Finance or Accounting preferred).
Experience:
Transferrable experience gained through internships, university committees, extracurricular activities, or part-time work.
