Our Client
Our client is a PE Backed early stage Aviation Business that has very exciting plans to grow over the next 12 -24 months. It is my clients belief that they have a unique service offering that is going put their largest competitor under a lot of pressure. The CEO and board are very confident that they can grow the business but they need the right CFO to ensure the growth is funded correctly and the finance function is adjusted to be ready for double digit growth in 2025.

Who should apply?
Candidate should be Big 4/Top 10 practice trained accountants with a minimum of 10 years’ PQE. From speaking with our client, we believe the successful candidate will have prior working knowledge of the aviation industry and need to be able to roll up their sleeves to get into the detail and on the flip side have the following:
- Strong commercial acumen
- Proven track record in the delivery of operational excellence
- Ability to business partner with key internal and external stakeholders
- Deliver monthly and year end reporting
- Strategic mindset
Role and Reporting Lines
This will be the most senior finance role within the company and will report jointly to the CEO & Board of Directors. You will be the only person in finance for an initial period so the role will be varied to include:
- Reporting - Preparation of quarterly management accounts, year-end accounts, liaising with auditors, and preparation of audited financial statements
- Working with the board and CEO to set realistic/tangible budgets and forecasts coupled investigating variances
- Financial modelling, monthly projections and cashflow planning
- Strategic planning with
- Compliance - Ensuring financial compliance across various structures
- Finance Operations - Hands-on involvement and conducting analysis to assess if its worth keeping certain functions in house or outsourcing
- Banking - quarterly banking compliance certificate completions, managing senior debt function
- Fundraising - understanding banking facility agreements and overview of the various lenders and funding options available in the Irish market
- Tax planning, liaising with tax advisors
