As a Solution Engineer, you’ll be the technical cornerstone of our sales process, working alongside the sales team to engage prospects and customers. You’ll provide technical expertise, deliver impactful demonstrations, and help shape tailored solutions for clients in the EHS/QMS space.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to the sales team during the sales process.
- Present, demonstrate and sell HSI’s software solutions to prospective and existing customers.
- Organize and lead impactful online and in-person platform demonstrations.
- Collaborate with clients to understand, assess, and document client needs to design tailored solutions.
- Partner with implementation, operations, and product teams to develop Statements of Understanding (SOU) and Scopes of Work (SOW).
- Assist in crafting proposals, RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs, and support sales teams in presenting to clients.
- Provide coaching and training to sales team members to enhance product knowledge and technical sales skills.
- Undertake minor development tasks using HTML and Javascript
- Represent HSI at industry events and trade shows; deliver public talks on relevant topics as needed.

Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related technical field (or equivalent professional experience)
Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years in EH&S/QMS software industry
- Proven track record in SaaS solution sales
- Demonstrated success with complex enterprise technology solutions
Technical Expertise:
- Comprehensive understanding of SaaS-based software systems
- Hands-on experience with web technologies and development
- Proficient in API integrations and cross-domain single sign-on strategies
- Experienced with HTML and JavaScript
- Advanced computer and business software skills
- Proven capability to translate technical capabilities into business value
