Production Manager
Reports to: Production Director –Wexford - Onsite
Job Objective:
This role supports a multi-skilled Operations Team on a multi-product site, overseeing team performance and reporting to the Production Director. The position requires shift work
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise employees, ensuring effective team performance.
- Ensure production meets quality standards, production schedules, and inventory requirements.
- Provide leadership, training, and coaching to team members.
- Assist in preparing and validating production schedules.
- Manage resources to ensure adherence to production schedules.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness per GMP standards to ensure product quality.
- Coordinate process and equipment changeovers to maximize uptime.
- Monitor production, address issues, and ensure compliance with batch records and audits.
- Implement and maintain the Quality System to ensure product quality.
- Safeguard intellectual property and manage confidential information securely.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Food Science, or a related discipline.
- 7 years of experience in the Food/Beverage/Flavour/Pharma industry.
- Proven people management skills in a team-based environment.
- Strong knowledge of GMP and World Class Manufacturing.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with SAP/Business Systems in a regulated environment.
- Ability to collaborate and drive process improvements.
