Our client is a Global Investment Management firm headquartered in America. Due to continued growth and success, they are recruiting a Fund Analyst to join their Global Fund Operations team in Dublin.
Working in a rapidly developing environment with an exposure to various investment strategies and Portfolio traders, the Fund Analyst will take responsibility for the following:
- Monitor various controls and procedures to ensure adherence to all policies
- Oversee a Global Investment Fund Accounting team and their daily operational tasks
- Identify and resolve complex operational issues as a subject matter expert
- Proactively lead enhancement initiatives
- Lead internal control framework improvements and formulate strategic recommendations
- Support portfolio managers to ensure operational objectives are met
- Contact, create, and maintain relationships with portfolio traders and managers
- Maintain communication with internal and external partners to resolve process and reconciliation issues
- Oversee research and implement complex process improvements
The Fund Analyst will meet the following criteria:
- Ability to monitor controls and procedures effectively
- Experience in overseeing tasks within fund accounting operations
- Expertise in identifying and resolving complex operational issues
- Experience in building relationships with stakeholders such as portfolio traders and managers
- Experience in overseeing research and implementing complex process improvements
- Ability to manage internal event tracking, perform incident analysis, evaluate and enhance workflows
