We’re working with a leading insurance group to hire a Financial Analyst to join their growing Finance team.
This is a broad, analytical role that will require you to work across the General Ledger, FP&A systems and other analytical tools and allow you to add value to their business.
In this key role, you will analyse, model, forecast and report on IFRS 17 results and develop and improve processes and systems both in IFRS 17 and Solvency II reporting.
This will suit a highly commercial accountant with the ability to communicate business performance clearly and succinctly
Role and Responsibilities:
- Analyse financial and business data, using a variety of techniques and identify trends and variances
- Build and present forecasts and reports across Finance and other functions
- Contribute to strategic and operational planning and the QBR process
- Monitor business, regulatory and financial performance
- Develop and assess business cases and capital requests to assess strategic fit
- Own and develop financial models, forecasts and analytical processes
- Contribute to ad hoc projects
Skills and Qualifications:
- Qualified accountant
- Experience in the Insurance industry
- Ideally sound knowledge of IFRS 17 and Solvency II
- Commercially astute with ability to work with senior management
