Overview:
You will direct the production of consumer products to support Haleon marketing and consumer strategy in a high-volume manufacturing site. In addition, you will oversee the packaging department to ensure the completion of production requirements in a timely manner by providing direction and coordination for the packaging department collaborating with multiple departments.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop your team wholeheartedly pursue the company objectives, while maintaining open communication through all levels of the department, providing continuity of leadership, and leading a productive and motivated team.
- Champion a safe and healthy work environment essential to the proper functioning of the operation in compliance with Haleon, Federal and local regulatory agencies.
- Ensure full compliance with all quality and regulatory guidelines in all phases of operation through direct involvement with staff and other departments in the planning, implementing, and maintenance of SOPs consistent with GMP regulations.
- Identify and create opportunities for continuous improvement, labour/material savings, and capital investment to maximize effectiveness and equipment utilization, and ensure low-cost producer status and high return on capital.
- Serve as liaison to Corporate, Haleon Manufacturing sites, technical and industry groups on project/advisory basis to provide expertise in production and business-related issues and positive reputation for the Company both internally and externally.
- Build, develop and empowers a high performing team.
- Achieve financial targets by preparing and reviewing department cost centre budgets.
- Support accurate batch execution, fluctuations in production requirements, and meet new product launches to meet demand and customer quality requirements.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical) (preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years supervisory/leadership experience
- Experience in plant operations / maintenance
- Experience implementing FDA and GMP regulations.
- Experience in TPM pillars like AM, PM, EEM/IIM, Installation & Commissioning of new packaging lines/equipment/troubleshooting, coaching, and mentoring for technical capability building.
- Ability to articulate business vision to staff, peers, and senior executives.
- Understanding of production forecasts and SAP systems
