Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Global Manufacturing
Location: Office-based, with 25% travel outside Ireland

Reporting to the CEO, the CFO will oversee all aspects of financial operations, from global reporting and compliance to capital investment and business transformation. With significant travel in the first six months, this role will allow you to engage deeply with the business, building relationships and aligning finance with overall organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Act as a trusted adviser to the CEO and executive team, influencing strategic decisions with a focus on sustainable growth.
- Build and lead a high-performing global finance team, fostering talent development and collaboration.
Global Financial Operations:
- Oversee international accounting and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with global standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
- Optimise financial systems and processes, leveraging ERP platforms for efficiency and insight.
Planning and Analysis:
- Lead annual budgeting, long-term forecasting, and the development of robust business metrics.
- Provide actionable insights and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
Treasury and Capital Management:
- Manage global cash flow, currency exposure, and capital allocation to support growth and stability.
- Prioritise and evaluate major investments, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Governance and Audit:
- Ensure strong internal controls and oversee all internal and external audit activities.
- Maintain robust compliance frameworks to mitigate risks and enhance operational integrity.
Growth and M&A:
- Support strategic initiatives, including M&A activities, with in-depth due diligence and financial modelling.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with leaders across the business to align financial goals with operational priorities.
- Deliver financial services and insights to global entities, driving efficiencies and best practices.
Lean Methodologies:
- Apply Lean methodologies to drive continuous improvement and functional efficiency across financial and operational processes.
- Leverage Lean principles to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and operational enhancements.
What You Bring:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA) with significant leadership experience in a global, multi-location business.
- Proven expertise in managing complex financial structures, driving process improvement, and optimising ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with a track record of influencing C-suite and Board-level decisions.
- Experience in capital investment, cash flow management, and M&A is essential.
- Demonstrated experience in applying Lean methodologies to improve processes and achieve operational excellence.
- A collaborative leadership style, with a passion for building high-performing, globally dispersed teams.
