Role Overview
We are looking for a Web Application Developer to join our technology team. This role involves a mix of frontend application development, AI-powered tools, and low-code/no-code platforms, enabling us to build and integrate customer-facing tools and business applications.
The ideal candidate has experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (Next.js/Nuxt.js), AI integrations (OpenAI, ChatGPT, Bedrock), APIs, and low-code solutions. You will work on a variety of frontend applications and web-based tools, helping to deliver seamless experiences for our users and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
● Develop frontend applications using JavaScript frameworks such as Next.js and Nuxt.js.
● Build and integrate AI-powered features using tools like OpenAI, ChatGPT, and AWS Bedrock.
● Create and implement mini-applications for customer interaction on the website and web apps.
● Work with no-code/low-code tools (e.g., Retool) where appropriate to accelerate development.
● Develop seamless integrations between business systems using APIs and automation workflows.
● Ensure UI/UX best practices by working with HTML, CSS, Tailwind, and modern component libraries.
● Optimize web applications for performance, security, and scalability.
● Work with databases and SQL to store, retrieve, and manipulate data for applications.
● Collaborate with product teams to define and implement user-friendly applications and tools.
● Stay up to date with AI advancements and explore how they can improve our web applications.
Required Skills & Experience
● Minimum 3 years of experience in web application development or full-stack development.
● Strong experience with JavaScript frameworks (Next.js, Nuxt.js, or similar).
● Familiarity with AI-powered development and integrating OpenAI, ChatGPT, or AWS Bedrock into applications.
● Experience working with low-code/no-code tools (Retool, Zapier, n8n) alongside traditional development.
● Knowledge of API development and consumption.
● Strong understanding of SQL databases and data management.
● Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Tailwind, and modern UI frameworks.
● Experience working on frontend applications and integrating backend services.
Preferred Skills & Experience
● Experience with AI automation and workflow tools.
● Knowledge of security best practices for web applications.
● Exposure to real-time data processing and event-driven architectures.
● Experience working in an Agile development environment.
Working Conditions & Benefits
● Hybrid work model – 3 days per week in the Dublin City Centre office.
● Competitive salary based on experience. Range €40-60k.
