About the Role
You will join a team committed to developing and enhancing a state-of-the-art eCommerce platform. We’re looking for an independent, goal-oriented Software Engineer who will contribute to the growth of a top-performing platform used by global brands to expand their digital reach and maximize online sales.
As a Senior Microservices Developer, your responsibilities will include:
- Building new features and microservices to elevate platform functionality.
- Maintaining and upgrading the existing platform for optimized performance.
- Performing full-stack development, including front-end, back-end, and third-party API integrations.
- Configuring platform features to meet diverse client needs.
- Collaborating to design solutions that address business challenges.
- Supporting the company’s digital transformation and automation initiatives.
Technologies You'll Work With
- Backend: Node.js, Microservices Architecture
- Cloud: AWS Cloud Services, Serverless, AWS Lambda, AWS Amplify
- Frontend: Vue.js
- Testing: Test-Driven Development (TDD) using Jest/NUnit frameworks
- Databases: MySQL, with a focus on data modeling and relational databases
- Agile Collaboration: Working alongside product designers and engineers to deliver technical solutions
What We’re Looking For
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience: 5+ years in software development, with a strong background in Node.js
- Skill Set:
- Proficiency in JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks
- Experience with Vue/jQuery or similar JavaScript frameworks
- Knowledge of Amazon Web Services is a plus
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and exceptional communication skills
