Barden has partnered with a growing energy business on a newly created Finance Manager role. This role is based in Co. Roscommon with hybrid working arrangements in place
The role has huge scope to broaden and grow as the company evolves into new markets in the future. The ideal candidate should be dynamic with the ambition to progress to the Financial Controller role in time.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a broad role to manage the finance function while also providing commercial and strategic support to the management team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Month end reporting to management.
- Annual budgeting process.
- Management of a small accounts team
- Oversight of the group payroll function,
- Compliance tax returns & sustainability reporting
- Support year end audit
- Business partner with key operational stakeholders
- Drive process and system improvements
- Support with the banking relationships.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Qualified accountant with minimum 3 years PQE.
- Experience working in an SME environment is essential.
- Strong communication skills with ability to influence and lead a finance team.
- Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience.
