Financial Accountant
The Role:
My client is seeking a Financial Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will support the preparation of financial statements, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and contribute to the smooth operation of financial reporting processes. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure proper accounting for all transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of management reports, providing insights into financial performance.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Contribute to the preparation of tax filings and financial audits.
- Assist in the improvement of financial processes and controls.
- Work closely with other departments to resolve any financial discrepancies or queries.
About You:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
