Our client, a leading food production company is looking to hire a Finance Manager to join their team in Co. Kildare. This Finance Manager will be responsible for leading a finance team and have responsibility for a number of entities within the group. For this role, the candidate must have strong financial reporting experience, ideally having experience working in manufacturing and with cost accounting experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the finance function, including cost accounting.
- Analyse business performance and review review costs.
- Oversee business planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Prepare and deliver financial and management information reports for senior management review.
- Manage treasury functions across the business,.
- Ensure compliance with statutory reporting, audits, and overall regulatory requirements.
- Lead and develop a team of experienced professionals, including financial accountants and accounts payable/receivable staff.
Requirements:
- Must be a qualified accountant - ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA
- Must have 3+ years PQE
- Must have strong knowledge and understanding of monthly management accounts, KPI reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and group reporting
- Experience working in a manufacturing organisation is desirable, not essential
- Must be a very strong communicator, team player and problem solver
- Must be very committed to meeting all reporting deadlines
