We use your personal data to provide and improve our services, personalise your experience, process payments, send service-related communications, and protect against fraud. We process data under the following lawful bases: contract performance (to provide our services), legitimate interests (to improve and secure our platform), and consent (for marketing communications).
We do not sell your personal data to any third party. We may share data with: Stripe (payment processing), Google (anonymised analytics), and hosting providers (technical infrastructure). All processors are GDPR-compliant and bound by data processing agreements.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymised analytics data may be retained indefinitely.
We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, regular security audits, and access controls. Data is stored within the EU (Ireland/Netherlands).
Our service is not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

By accessing and using Resume.ie, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.
Resume.ie provides CV building tools, career intelligence, and professional development resources. We offer free and paid subscription plans as described on our Pricing page.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You may not share your account or use another person's account.
You agree not to: use the service for any illegal purpose, submit false or misleading information, attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, use automated tools to scrape our content, or resell or redistribute our templates or tools.
Resume.ie templates, designs, and content are owned by Resume Ireland Ltd. Your CV content remains yours — you retain full ownership of all content you create. We grant you a licence to use our templates for personal, non-commercial CV creation.
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected. You can cancel anytime via Settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers.
If you're not satisfied within the first 14 days of a paid subscription, contact support@resume.ie for a full refund. After 14 days, refunds are at our discretion.
Resume.ie is provided "as is". While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that our salary data, ATS scores, or career advice will lead to specific employment outcomes. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months prior to any claim.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
