The ideal candidate would have experience in cloud infrastructure including endpoint management, Networking, Server Administration, Azure, and Office 365 as well as a solid understanding of on-premises technology including networking. This role would require a service-oriented attitude, excellent verbal and written skills and a high focus on the quality of work.
This role is based on a client site in Longford.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for diagnosing and resolving I.T. problems and implementing a solution to prevent reoccurrence (Root cause Analysis, Corrective and Preventative Actions).
Ability to provide desktop support for users of varying skill levels, assist with new machine integrations, configuration of peripheral devices and process recipe updates.
Hardware troubleshooting and application troubleshooting and support
Project Management of multiple simultaneous projects and drive such projects to successful implementation.
Drive quality through accurate process definition and data mapping, and the effective highlighting of Information Systems issues.
Supports system software upgrades including planning and scheduling, testing and coordination with operations. Familiar with SLC, Computer validation activity.
Ensures policies and standards adherence is consistent with Corporate/ Division standards.
Ensures that IT applications meet the needs of the organization.
Ability to work successfully in a team environment supporting both infrastructure and applications.
Able to execute IT projects working with cross functional teams.
Keen awareness and appreciation for internal and external customers.
Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision
Experience working with operating procedures, policies. and processes in a GMP environment
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computing or IT related disciplines preferred or equivalent in manufacturing, quality or engineering discipline
Experience of working in a manufacturing GMP environment.
Experience supporting Windows devices, Office 365, Active Directory.
Experience of working with large databases, Service Now, Lotus Notes, MES and control systems.
Web and application server management.
Experience with POMSNet system is advantageous.
Keen interest in technology and open to learning about new technologies and how these can be used to support the Business.
