Position Summary Our uLED research lab is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deposition Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible developing Deposition process on state-of-the-art deposition equipment in pursuit of the next generation of ultra-low-power LED (uLED) technology. We are looking for a hands-on engineer with a passion for exploring new materials, processes, and applications.
Responsibilities
- Operate and optimize a variety of deposition systems for the synthesis of thin film materials, including sputtering, evaporation, dielectric deposition, and atomic layer deposition (ALD).
- Develop new deposition processes and optimize existing ones to improve device performance and yield.
- Collaborate with the rest of the team (Including Research Scientists and Device Integrators) to design, fabricate, and test new uLED devices.
- Participate in technology transfer and training activities.Ensure compliance with laboratory safety requirements and regulations.
Education & Experience
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in deposition techniques and methods, including two or more of the following: sputtering, evaporation, dielectric deposition, ALD.
- Knowledge of thin film deposition theory and applications, preferably for optoelectronic devices.
- Strong experimental and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and safety regulations.
