VIAVI Solutions is currently recruiting for a Customer Project Manager who is very customer-focused and who has a flair for technology. Our Customer Project Managers (CPMs) lead the delivery of important orders and projects to customers to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and repeat business. For each engagement, the CPM forms a team to create and execute the project plan and ensure customer requirements are met. Success requires good problem-solving and project management skills. This role has high visibility within VIAVI Solutions and our customers, which means that clear and concise communication skills are essential.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Organize and lead customer and internal meetings regularly.

Create and execute project plans and ensure that projects run on time and on budget.

Lead the project execution team and assign engineers to customer activities and issue resolutions.

Work with multiple internal stakeholders across product management, support, engineering, operations, sales and senior management.

Prepare statements of work, estimates, requirements and analyses for projects.

Track and report project progress to internal and external stakeholders.

Escalate and resolve issues that may impact customer satisfaction.

Track and analyse customer KPIs metrics using spreadsheets and other tools to measure and report support performance.
Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:
VIAVI is seeking candidates, with an engineering or ICT degree with relevant industry background.
In your application, please include information showing experience of managing projects, working with multiple stakeholders and knowledge of relevant industry and technology (4G/5G RAN, Open RAN, 3GPP).
Advantageous:

Understanding of common network protocols, services and applications used in the telecommunications industry.

Familiarity with distributed containerized solutions (Docker / Kubernetes).

Familiarity with private and public cloud technologies.

Experience with Microsoft CRM Dynamics.
