Global Head FP&A – Financial Services
The Panel is exclusively partnering with a prestigious global financial services firm to appoint a Global Head of FP&A. This strategic leadership role is essential for shaping and driving the company’s financial vision, influencing decision-making, and ensuring long-term financial success. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in FP&A, ideally in PE-backed environments, and possess a keen understanding of the pace, urgency, and focus required to thrive in such a dynamic setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the CFO to define and execute the company’s financial strategy, ensuring seamless alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
- Provide insightful, data-driven recommendations to the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors to inform critical business decisions.
- Lead the annual budgeting cycle, long-term financial forecasting, and scenario analysis, ensuring robust financial planning and alignment with strategic initiatives.
- Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and relevance of financial reporting and analysis across the organization.
- Represent the FP&A function in meetings with the Board and Executive Committee, delivering clear, impactful financial presentations that guide business strategies.
- Spearhead the implementation and optimization of financial planning systems and tools to enhance efficiency and decision-making.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related roles, with a solid background in financial services, ideally within a PE-backed or fast-paced corporate environment.
- Proven track record in leading and developing high-performing teams, with an emphasis on mentoring future leaders.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to addressing business challenges.
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or an MBA is highly preferred.
