Who we are looking for: An experienced DLP Policy Engineer. A successful candidate will have a high propensity for problem solving and strong critical thinking skills. Organization and time management are critically important as well as strong communication skills. DLP Policy engineers must be able to work independently and collaborate where necessary.
What you will be responsible for:
- Working closely with DLP Operations and Triage teams to interpret business and technology requirements for policy development and maintenance
- Designing, developing and configuration DLP policies and reports across multiple platforms both on-prem and in the cloud
- Conducting feature/integration testing in Dev and UAT environments, work with QA resources to ensure readiness before moving rules into production environment
- Documenting standard operating procedures and other appropriate documentation to enforce quality and consistency of the services this team provides
- Partnering with DLP Incident Response triage analysts to tune policies, provide assistance with investigations as required.
- Working with Vendors to deploy additional capabilities/features on DLP platforms
- Working to Mature Detection capabilities of the DLP platforms
- Working directly with Stakeholders and Business Units to define requirements and develop DLP solutions.
- Demonstrate risk excellence
- Develop a strong understanding and position yourself as subject matter expert on a platform
- Delivering clear and meaningful reports, presentations, and other materials for approval boards and committees.

Education & Preferred Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, or related discipline
- at least 5 years in an Information technology field, preferably DLP
- at least 1 year experience in DLP writing queries and conducting investigations
- Experience on Enterprise Level DLP platforms Zscaler, Symantec, Microsoft, Digital Guardian, Proofpoint, etc.
- Demonstrated experience for authoring SOP's and technical documentation
- Regex experience
- Scripting experience
- Data Analysis and reporting experience
