The Electrical Design Engineer will play a critical role in designing and developing low voltage switchgear systems. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure project success. Candidates with a strong background in electrical engineering and experience in low voltage switchgear design are preferred, though graduates in Electrical Engineering or related fields are encouraged to apply.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design and develop low voltage switchgear systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Create detailed electrical schematics, layouts, and project specifications.
- Utilize CAD software and other tools for accurate and efficient electrical designs.
- Select, integrate, and manage the functionality of power and control system components.
- Collaborate with electrical and mechanical teams to ensure equipment meets specifications.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation.
- Work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery of design milestones.
- Conduct design reviews and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical design issues during testing.
- Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including technical specifications, test plans, and reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date design documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software and relevant design tools.
- Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations for low voltage switchgear.
- Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
