Overview:
Our rapidly expanding company is in search of Fire Alarm Service Engineers to join our team based in the Munster region. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Electrician to advance their career in the fire alarm industry. Training on all aspects of fire alarm installation, servicing and commissioning will be provided.
Daily Duties and Responsibilities: Maintenance and Servicing:
- Perform regular maintenance on all types of life safety systems covered under contract.
- Utilize problem-solving skills to trace issues and conduct effective fault finding.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, specifically I.S. 3218 and I.S. 3217.
Documentation and Communication:
- Complete all necessary documentation related to maintenance works accurately and promptly.
- Liaise with customers to understand and fulfil their requirements.
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively as part of our service team.
- Participate in the on-call rota to address service needs efficiently.
Reporting and Collaboration:
- Report to and closely collaborate with the Operations Manager.
- Keep the team informed about completed tasks, ongoing projects, and potential issues.
Requirements:
- Possess a full, clean Irish driver's license.
- Demonstrate a self-starting attitude and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Fluent in verbal and written English.
- Capability to work both individually and as part of a team.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in the fire alarm industry is an advantage but not required as training will be provided
- Knowledge of I.S. 3218 and I.S. 3217 standards.
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding abilities.
