Title and Summary Enterprise Operations Engineer II
Overview
- Globally partnering with Mastercard Stakeholder to deliver world class technical support for MasterCard infrastructures and applications
which includes Could services, Network devices, Servers, Transactions switching, Mainframes and enabling growth, diversification and new
business generation.
- Provide 24x7x365 technical operations support for MasterCard's global infrastructure; with focus on minimizing impact to our regional
delivery points like Banks, Financial institutes across the world which are using Mastercard service for transaction processing, Mastercard
Cloud services, Mastercard Data Center, Mastercard Corporate office and internal Mastercard stakeholder.
- Monitor the infrastructure, and be a key stakeholder in MasterCard Incident, Change & problem Management processes.
- Regularly perform data analysis to determine MasterCard's performance and identify areas of improvement.
Role
- Supporting application teams deployed on Cloud Platforms
o Monitoring and troubleshoot day to day issues on the cloud
o Working on deploying Kubernetes clusters and conducting Upgrades
o Collaborating with Engineering teams for defects and new features deployment
- Execute Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes.
- Perform effective vendor management techniques to ensure forward-progress managed Incidents.
- Monitor the performance of traffic, systems, and central site processing, addressing anomalies detected on any of the transactions.
- Route central site and customer traffic as necessary to minimize downtime and impact to the brand and business.
- Kept system at maximum uptime through proactive oversight and scheduled maintenance.
- Monitor network performance and uptime and responded quickly to incidents.
- Troubleshoot issues with LAN/WAN connectivity in the infrastructure.
- Upgraded system hardware, network hardware and IOS upgrades.

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Monitored performance and ensured system availability and reliability.
- Monitored system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
- Intermediate-level knowledge of Cloud Operations, routing, switching, tunnelling, or Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS).
- Experience in Cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, Cloud Security and understand the concept of Kubernetes ecosystem.
- Assisted with deployment and troubleshooting of various network devices and services, including Cisco routers, switches & firewalls,
Wireless LAN, SD-WAN, Load Balancers, MIP servers.
- Worked within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made
to the network infrastructure.
- Performed network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixed and security configurations.
- Basic UNIX scripting and tool monitoring, JCL, MVS, batch scheduling, knowledge of tandem technology.
