Job Title: .NET Developer
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled .NET Developer to join our client’s collaborative and innovative development team. You will be working on behalf of our client’s firm, contributing to an exciting project for a leading education and research institution in Ireland. As part of their multi-year digital transformation program, this institution is leveraging Microsoft’s digital architecture to develop cutting-edge applications based on MS-Dynamics CRM.
This is an opportunity to engage with a dynamic team in a hybrid work environment (onsite 3 days a week in Dublin City Centre) and work on impactful projects with potential for a completion bonus at the end of the assignment. The initial contract is for 6 months+, with a strong possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain applications using the Microsoft .NET framework with a focus on performance and scalability.
- CRM Configuration: Configure and customize MS-Dynamics CRM (both online and on-premise).
- Custom Solutions: Develop tailored solutions using .NET, C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript to meet specific client needs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with business analysts, testers, technical teams, and business leaders to ensure the final solutions align with business objectives.
- Project Planning: Create accurate work plans, estimate effort, and participate in design sessions.
- Technical Analysis: Conduct gap analyses between client requirements and CRM functionality to recommend and implement solutions.
- Deployment and Troubleshooting: Manage the deployment of Web Apps in Azure and troubleshoot deployed applications to ensure seamless functionality.
Qualifications
Essential
- A relevant third-level qualification in IT.
- A minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in software development using .NET and C#.
- Expertise in .NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC, and API development.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as MVC, HTML (4/5), JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS.
- Experience with LINQ and relational database platforms, particularly SQL Server.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs.
- Familiarity with deploying and managing Web Apps in Microsoft Azure.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and version control systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot applications and recommend effective solutions to the development team.
Desirable
- Familiarity with multiple Dynamics CRM versions (CRM 2015, 2016, and Dynamics 365).
- Experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Fundamentals certification.
