Post Summary
Two fully funded PhD studentships are available to conduct research in ocular tissue engineering. The aim of these projects will be to explore the effect of different mechanical environments on the culture of corneal cells and their ability to generate new tissue that could be used for transplantation. The successful candidates will receive training in a variety of biological and bioengineering techniques and have access to state-of-the-art facilities at the Trinity Centre for Biomedical Engineering (TCBE). There will also be the opportunity to attend international conferences.
