In this key, field-based sales role, you will be responsible for managing Sterile Transfer enquiries and orders across Ireland, while driving the growth of both OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and End User sales. You will collaborate with customers, market researchers and internal and external stakeholders to share, build together and meet our goals. Your role will be key in supporting our strategic business objectives and ensuring departmental profitability. You will work closely with customers, provide technical guidance, and help develop new business opportunities.
Job Purpose:
To ensure both Sterile Transfer enquiries and orders are dealt with efficiently and effectively, whilst maintaining pre-determined departmental profitability. To account manager OEM and End User Sterile Transfer sales for Ireland in order to grow the business in alignment with Life Science business area directives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Respond to technical enquiries from both OEM and End User customers promptly and accurately.
- Sales Management: Prepare and submit quotations, ensuring that high-value quotes are reviewed by the Sterile Transfer Sales Director before issue.
- Business Development: Account manage and visit key OEM and End User customers at least twice per year, with the support of GLFS.
- Prospecting: Identify and create new business opportunities within the Sterile Transfer sector.
- CRM Utilization: Maintain the Getinge CRM system (Salesforce) to track customer interactions, manage opportunities, and support business growth.
- Collaboration: Work closely with GLSF staff to obtain technical and delivery information and communicate this to customers.
- Customer Presentations: Provide presentations and sales tools to customers in line with Getinge Group standards.
- Order Management: Review and resolve back-order information, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Trade Shows & Events: Represent Getinge at relevant trade shows, exhibitions, and events.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience: Proven success in a field sales position within the Life Sciences or manufacturing sector.
- Education: Preferably a degree or qualification in science or engineering.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and the use of CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
- Language: English language proficiency is required.
- Licence: Full driving licence and willingness to travel extensively within Ireland and internationally (expected travel up to 50%).
