Key Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities
Implementation of the TLI Safety Charter and Life Saving Rules
Responsible for the delivery of the HV Overhead Lines portion of the company business plan in line with our Mission, Vision, Values and Policies
Manage and prioritise own workload considering your own objectives and those of the wider team
Create, maintain and enhance working relationships with key contacts across the Group
Supporting the specification, development and implementation of policies and processes to address function relevant issues

Operational Responsibilities
Support the delivery for all HV operational activities associated with Design, Installation and commissioning of HV Overhead Lines, reporting to the HV Project
Manager.
Responsible for managing client expectations
Attendance to regular progress meetings with clients as required.
Work with OHL teams to properly test and validate installations, operation, and performance of electrical systems.
Ability to work on concurrent projects in multiple geographical regions.
Travel to sites for site reviews and work with onsite Site Supervisors, as well as provide engineering evaluations, system audits, and start-up as needed.
Comply with the safety legislation, working on HV projects requires PSCS as there is specific risk. Where required you will be the representative of the PSCS
Responsible for completing Performance development reviews for all direct reports.

About the role

Due to recent expansion and a increase in available contracts, we are very pleased to be resourcing within the HV Overhead Lines team to help grow this department. Supporting the Project Manager this Engineering role will suit a Civil Engineering graduate with 3-5 years experience ideally within the Utility and or Power industry.

Please note that this role will be hybrid working with a requirement to travel to site throughout Ireland when required.

Qualifications and Skills

Qualifications

Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Studies
EU Driving License
Right to work in Ireland

Knowledge

3-5 + years’ experience in a Civil Engineering or Construction Environment
Excellent understanding of the relevant Health and Safety Standards
Proficient use and knowledge of software such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, AutoCAD
Ability to evidence recent relevant senior & people leadership experience

Skills

Experience in people and line leadership
Demonstrable client facing skills with a client orientated approach
Commercially astute
Ability to work with minimum supervision
Ability to work within a team
Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, Organisational & Planning Skills
