Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, Go).
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
- 3 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems.
Preferred qualifications:
- 3 years of experience working in a matrixed organization.
- Experience in distributed computing, containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services like Compute Engine.
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., PLX) and familiarity with BoQ and annealing processes are highly valued.
- Experience in SQL, data analysis, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Identify vulnerabilities related to Change Management within our Cloud infrastructure. Conduct thorough analysis and back your hypotheses with robust data and evidence.
- Develop and implement effective, system-wide mitigation for identified risks. Utilize Large Scale Changes and other broad roll-out techniques to ensure comprehensive risk reduction.
- Negotiate and influence best approaches to mitigate risks, ensuring alignment and buy-in from key stakeholders.
