My client, a reputable global asset manager based in Dublin City is seeking a Finance Associate to join their global team. Reporting to the Controller in Dublin and working alongside the UK and international team, you will be responsible for supporting the European investment oversight and finance teams, and where needed globally.
Experience in the Irish market is essential. This is a hybrid role with a strong benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Revenue reporting and analysis, preparation of monthly revenue journals and variance analysis
- Cost analysis to identify trends and oversee expenditure
- Participation in quarterly fund profitability analysis
- Input and preparation of quarterly planning rounds, focusing on revenue and cost drivers
- Support for month-end P&L close with timely reporting and resolution of data issues
- Completion of Irish regulatory returns and production of year-end financial statements
- Leading the audit process and management information reporting
- Preparation of monthly management accounts/quarterly board packs, incl. ad hoc analysis
- Invoicing, including preparation of monthly pooled fund invoices and collaboration with the UK invoicing team
Requirements:
- Experience within the financial services sector, preferably AUM/Investments or Audit.
- Strong academic background with an accountancy qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, etc.).
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and vlookups.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
- Experience in Irish regulatory capital calculations and Irish Tax and VAT.
