Our Client
Our client is a PE Backed Business that has very exciting plans to grow through their business by adding on multiple revenue streams. Some of these projects have begun and others are very much at the planning stage. I am working with the PE firm who are incredibly private so so Non-Disclosure and Confidentiality Agreements will need to be signed before things can progress

Who should apply?
Candidate should be Big 4/Top 10 practice trained accountants with a minimum of 10 years’ PQE gained, in a fast moving or high growth industry. From speaking with our client, we believe the successful candidate will need to be able to roll up their sleeves to get into the detail and on the flip side have the following:
- Strong commercial acumen
- Proven track record in the delivery of operational excellence
- Ability to business partner with key internal and external stakeholders
- Deliver monthly and year end reporting
- Strategic mindset
Role and Reporting Lines
This will be the most senior finance role within the company and will report to the board of directors. You will be the only person in finance for an initial period so the role will be varied to include:
Financial Reporting & Tax Compliance
- Oversee all subsidiary financial account preparation
- Responsibility for Group month end and year-end financial reporting
- Ensuring group tax compliance (VAT & Excise Duty, Transfer Pricing and Corporation Tax etc)
- Tax planning and structuring
- Developing and shaping a finance function that will enable rapid growth for individual and group companies
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- Develop financial performance measures that support the company’s strategic direction
- Further develop forecasts and models to enable review of KPI’s
- Monthly preparation and presentation of management information packs
Treasury & Cashflow Management
- Cashflow projections and management
- Ensure adequate treasury management to maximise returns on international investments and operations
- Working capital management and optimisation of Capex
- Stress testing and planning of contingency funding
Corporate Finance & Development
- Identification and review of any investment and development opportunities
- Financial modelling of new projects for financial viability
- Competitor and market analysis (local & international)
- Completion of due diligence on any potential investment and divestment
Risk Management & Operations
- Understand and mitigate the key elements of the company’s financial risk profile
- Review and update the internal control framework
- Ensure compliance with all financial & legal obligations
- Successfully complete the yearly audit & investigate and mitigate auditor’s findings
- Build a strong teamwork within the entire finance and connected departments
- Creation of operational excellence that starts within finance that infiltrates the entire company
- Manage and develop relationships with all third parties (key suppliers, auditors, banking, insurers etc)
- Oversight, management and potential development of the IT infrastructure
