Finance Manager
Location: Hybrid, fully remote or office based
Quinn & Associates has been exclusively engaged to find a Finance Manager for a growing and innovative organisation. This key role focuses on financial reporting and financial modelling, with the flexibility to work from the office, remotely, or in a hybrid arrangement.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Director, the Finance Manager will take the lead on producing accurate financial reports and developing sophisticated financial models to support strategic and operational decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
Financial Reporting:
- Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Streamline reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Financial Modelling:
- Build and refine financial models to evaluate business performance and support investment decisions.
- Conduct scenario planning and provide actionable insights to senior management.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the annual budgeting process and produce rolling forecasts.
- Provide variance analysis and identify trends or risks to the business.
Compliance and Controls:
- Strengthen internal financial controls and processes to ensure best practices.
- Collaborate with external auditors to deliver a smooth audit process.
Business Partnering:
- Work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights.
- Provide strategic input to drive company growth and performance.
About You
To excel in this role, you will bring:
- A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA).
- Experience in a similar finance role, with Big 4 experience considered a strong asset.
- Expertise in financial reporting and advanced financial modelling.
- Solid understanding of IFRS and statutory reporting requirements.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with advanced Excel capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders.
