We have an amazing opportunity for a Legal Counsel within our Contracting team in the Dock Innovation Hub office, in Dublin. You will have the opportunity to work on high profile global client work and in a diverse and global environment.
Your Responsibilities:
- Review of several types of contractual agreements in a fast paced corporate environment which may include Master Service Agreements, Outsourcing Agreements, Statements of Work, Service Level Agreements and Data Transfer Agreements.
- Act as a knowledgeable and relevant legal advisor on legal and commercial risks associated with commercial transactions.
- Assisting to improve contract review processes and workflows with a focus on balancing risk management, business needs and operational efficiencies.
- Supporting the development of new and existing contracting digital tools to make contracting more innovative and efficient.
- Working closely with the team to assist with various Contracting Excellence projects and initiatives globally through a cross-functional Centre of Excellence;
- Collaborating with other Accenture functions and other groups within the Accenture Legal organization globally to improve transactional outcomes.
What skills & experience are we looking for?
- Experience in contracting, preferably in a fast-paced corporate legal/transaction group.
- Proven ability to efficiently manage a large volume of transactions independently.
- Strong time management, prioritization and organizational skills.
- Excellent business writing, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Interest in understanding and leveraging technology in innovative ways to support the role of contracting lawyers.
- A positive, can-do attitude.
- Good understanding of contracting risks as they apply to digital transactions.
What academic qualifications do you need?
Qualified Solicitor/Barrister with a minimum of 2 years PQE.
