Purpose
Deliver technical solutions for our banking clients Financing/Loan Products & Payments platforms. Ensure solution integrity, adherence to standards, and utilise banking knowledge to resolve issues and recommend improvements.
1 to 2 days on-site in Dublin a week – Start date is the 6th of January 2025 (interviews and offers well before then) – 12 month contract – Rates are dependent on experience
Key Responsibilities
Support
- Provide 3rd-line support, prioritise issues, and identify root causes.
- Ensure systems are support-ready from the development stage.
Development
- Design, develop, document, and test technical solutions.
- Manage end-to-end delivery and create project estimates.
Quality
- Ensure both in-house and external solutions meet agreed standards.
- Offer consultancy throughout the development lifecycle and produce support documentation.
- Review deliverables from team members and suppliers, continuously improve practices.
Knowledge & Experience
Essential
- 5+ years with MS technologies; strong in .NET 5/6, C#, OOP, SOLID principles.
- Experience with both .Net Core and ASP.Net
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular 8+, Angular.js, ASP.NET Web API, Entity Framework, SQL Server, Azure DevOps/Git.
- Experience in Agile (Scrum) and CI using Azure DevOps.
Desirable
- Experience with SSIS, Message Queue, WCF.
- Any hands on Azure development experience
- Experience in the banking sector
