We are hiring multiple Site Engineers on behalf of a leading Tier 1 contractor to support the development of new residential projects in the Dublin area.
Responsibilities:
Conduct precise site surveys, establish reference points, and set benchmarks to guide construction activities.
Perform inspections, assessments, and tests to ensure construction meets project specifications and industry standards. Address deviations promptly.
Work closely with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Identify engineering challenges on-site and propose effective solutions to maintain project timelines.
Maintain up-to-date site diaries, progress reports, as-built drawings, and other essential project records.
Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations, fostering a culture of safety on-site.
Oversee the procurement, storage, and utilization of construction materials to optimize resources.
Qualifications & Skills:
A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is desirable.
Proven experience working as a Site Engineer in the construction sector.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Skilled in surveying and setting out using total stations and other surveying equipment.
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, project management software, and other relevant tools.
