Barden has partnered with a leading international business based in Co. Kildare on a newly created Finance Manager role. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role would suit someone who has strong financial reporting and technical skills to support commercial transactions and projects.
The hiring manager is keen to hire someone who has strong technical accounting skills directly from Big 4/Top 10 practice or has PQE in a financial reporting role in industry.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Support group financial reporting for actuals and forecast- monthly and quarterly
- Research and document accounting treatment for commercial transactions and projects as required
- Key contact for external auditors in the half year review, interim, year end and statutory audit queries
- Support the development of best in class reporting structures
- Maintain accurate accounting records and internal controls. Ensure strict adherence to revenue recognition policies and processes
- Complete budgets and forecasts timely and accurately, with comprehensive trend and KPI analysis
- Co-ordinate project cash flow forecasts, improve/maintain working capital
- Support divisional strategic and operational objectives as required
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Qualified Accountant with PQE in Big 4/top 10 practice or industry
- Strong technical skills - IFRS & IFRS 102
- Experience in preparing and reviewing financial statements
- Can-do attitude
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
