About The Role & Team
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Java Software Development Intern to join our dynamic team. As an intern, you will work closely with experienced developers to learn and contribute to real-world projects. This is a great opportunity for students who are passionate about software development and eager to enhance their Java programming skills.
Assists in development maintenance and support of specific software components under guidance from more experienced Developers.
What You’ll Do
- Assist in the development and maintenance of Java-based applications.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code under the guidance of senior developers.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve bugs.
- Participate in code reviews and learn best coding practices.
- Work on various stages of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Contribute to the documentation of projects and codebases.
- Develop an understanding of coding guidelines and practices and all technical processes and follow them in all development work that is undertaken.
- Learn requirement analysis techniques and participate in sessions where requirements are discussed and analyzed.
Qualifications
ABOUT YOUR SKILLS
- Educational experience in at least two Object Orientated languages such as Java C++ or similar.
- Typically, less than 24 months practical experience as an intern or in a full-time role using a mainstream Object Orientated language such as Java C++ or similar.
